Genotyping Service

Long story short, I love messing around with genes, and I wanted to spread the love. C: (Short story slightly longer, I can pretty much do horse colour genes in my sleep (quite literally; that is an embarrassing story for another day) and taught myself dog colour genes the other day, so this is sort of a combination of celebration and practice in the case of the dogs, and a bit of relaxation for me. xD Cats are next on the list to learn, but I want to have dogs more ingrained first before I go there.)

So anybody who wants their horse or dog's genotype, roll up! :3

If anyone wants to check what I'm using, the (natural) genes I use are listed fairly concisely here.

Send me your animal's information (a link to your animal's ref is good) and any notes you want to tell me on it - either comment here or note me with the subject "Genotyping Service". All the better if you have the phenotype (physical expression of the genes eg "buckskin") up (it doesn't have to be but there will be guesswork otherwise), and if it has a lineage please make sure there are links available to the parents. If your animal doesn't exist yet (say if you want to have the genotype up when you submit it), that's fine - just give me the same information. There is no limit to number of animals. c:

Unnatural/made-up breeds are absolutely accepted, as long as the breed has genes defined (I'll need a link to that). (I can also offer advice on how things might work if you're making your own made-up genes. :3 That's separate, and free. xD)
